2005 Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Purple edge falls directly into dense center pool. Closed in initially, aeration coaxes out earthiness, cigar box and blackberry nose. Cedar and briar flavors give way to fresh mulberry and leaves lingering toasted spice and vanilla finish. Soft tannins allow for drinkability while structure allows for additional cellaring.

2005 Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Dense ruby/purple from edge to core. Vine-picked blackberry and plum preserves pull caramel and vanilla out of the glass. Sweet dark fruit flavors first envelop the tip of your tongue and then cascade to toasted almond dusted with mocha. Firm tannins hold long, sweet dark chocolate and classic syrah black pepper flavors in the finish. Will improve with cellaring.
