Purplish/garnet edges give way to concentrated color core. Wine’s weight is indicated by its predominant legs. French prune, cranberry, raspberry notes fade to almond and vanilla in the aroma. Layered black plum, rose petal finish with toasted oak and medium tannins. Improves with cellaring.

Purple edge falls directly to deep color pool. Closed in initially, aeration coaxes cigar, cedar and currant nose. Bright dark stone fruit flavors rounded by weighty body and toasted spice and oak finish. Good structural tannins for age ability. Improves with cellaring.
